What it does
A built-in spreadsheet workspace. Build budgets, financial models, and trackers with formulas and formatting — without leaving Nautis. Your sheet list sits on the left and a full spreadsheet editor on the right. Import Excel/CSV files (or pull them from Google Sheets), share a sheet with a public or password-protected link, and discuss it with cell-anchored comments.
Who can use it
Anyone with read permission for Sheets can view; create is needed for New sheet, importing, and duplicating; update for editing; delete for deleting.
Your plan may cap monthly sheet creation — duplicates and imports count toward it.
Sharing with specific teammates requires an organization.
How to get here
From the sidebar, open Profile & Company and click Sheets.
Step-by-step: create a sheet
Click New sheet. A spreadsheet named Untitled sheet opens immediately — no form first.
Click the title (pencil icon) to rename, or use ⋯ → Edit sheet to set Title (required, 160 chars), Description (480 chars), Folder, and Shared with team (selected teammates can view and edit; the owner and org admins always have access).
Click Save.
Step-by-step: edit a spreadsheet
Click any sheet to open the editor. Use the toolbar for formatting; type = for formulas.
Autosave runs ~1.5s after you stop typing — a pill shows Saving… / Saved / Save failed. Ctrl/Cmd+S saves instantly.
Click Refresh data to pull in a teammate's latest changes.
Step-by-step: import and export
From system — drag in up to 10 files (.xlsx, .xls, .csv; 10 MB each). Each becomes a sheet.
From Google Sheets — click Connect Google account the first time, then pick up to 10 spreadsheets to import. Disconnect anytime.
Export — download icon in the editor → Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv).
Step-by-step: organize
Search sheets… filters by title and content.
Folders (orgs only): filter by folder, Manage folders to create color-coded ones, ⋯ → Move to folder.
Pin keeps a sheet at the top; everything else sorts by most recently updated.
Duplicate creates a "(copy)".
Step-by-step: share outside your team
Open the sheet and click Share.
Choose Public (anyone with the link) or Private (password or specific recipient email).
Optionally set expiry (1/7/30/90 days) and a Message.
Pick permissions: viewing always on; Allow comments default on; Allow editing and Allow download default off.
Copy the link. Use Manage links to revoke, reset passwords, change permissions, and see view counts.
Step-by-step: comment
Click the Comments toggle. Select cells and click Attach selected cells to anchor a comment to an exact range. Resolve, reopen, or delete from the sidebar. Guests on shared links can comment if allowed.
Step-by-step: delete
⋯ → Delete, then confirm in Delete this sheet?. Permanent — no undo.

FAQ
Do my changes save automatically?
Yes — autosave shortly after you stop typing, plus Ctrl/Cmd+S for instant saves.
Can two people edit at once?
Not live. You see each other's changes after clicking Refresh data. Take turns on shared models.
Can I share with an investor who doesn't use Nautis?
Yes — create a public, password-protected, or email-locked link with your choice of comment/edit/download permissions. Revoke anytime.
Does Sheets have AI features or templates?
Not yet. Sheets start blank, or import an existing file as a starting point.
It says it couldn't load the spreadsheet engine.
Check your connection and reload. Corporate firewalls that block CDN traffic can also cause this.
Why can't I create a new sheet?
You either lack create permission or hit your plan's monthly limit — duplicates and imports count too.
