What it does
Helps you regain access if you forget your password, set a brand-new one from an email link, or change your password from inside the app. It also covers the one-time "set your password" screen new team members see when an admin creates their account.
Who can use it
Forgot password & reset link: anyone with a registered email address — you don't need to be signed in.
Change password: signed-in users from their account security settings.
Set password (first time): users whose accounts were created for them by an administrator. The app forces this step before letting them in.
How to get here
Forgot password? — from the login page, click Forgot password? above the password field.
Change password (signed in) — open your profile and go to Security in account settings.
Set password (admin-created accounts) — the app sends you here automatically the first time you sign in.
Step-by-step: I forgot my password
On the login page, click Forgot password?.
Type your Email address.
Click Send reset link.
The screen confirms "Check your email." Open your inbox and look for the password reset email from Nautis.
Click the link in the email.
Step-by-step: set a new password from the reset link
The link opens the Reset Your Password page.
Enter your New Password. As you type, dots beside each rule turn green when satisfied:
At least 8 characters long
Contains at least one uppercase letter
Contains at least one lowercase letter
Contains at least one number
Type the same value into Confirm New Password.
Click Reset Password.
You're taken back to the login page with a confirmation that your password has been reset. Sign in with the new password.
Step-by-step: change your password while signed in
Open Account Settings from your profile menu and pick the Security tab.
In the Change Password card, enter your Current Password.
Enter a New Password that meets the four rules shown below the field.
Type the same value into Confirm New Password.
Click Update Password.
You stay signed in; the toast at the top confirms success.
Step-by-step: set your password the first time (admin-created accounts)
After signing in for the first time, the app sends you straight to Set Your Password.
You can't reach the rest of the app until you finish this step.
Enter a New Password that meets all five rules. Note that this screen is stricter than the others — it also requires at least one special character (for example
!,@,#,?).Type it again in Confirm New Password.
Click Set Password.
You're sent to the dashboard.
Tips & limits
Password reset links expire after 1 hour for security. If yours stops working, request a fresh one.
You can only request up to 3 reset emails per hour for the same address. If you hit the limit, wait an hour and try again.
The reset email goes to whatever address you typed — we don't reveal whether an account exists, so check spam if nothing arrives.
Reusing one of your recent passwords is blocked when you change your password from the security settings — pick something genuinely new.
The Set Your Password screen only appears once. After you've set a password, you won't see it again.
FAQ
I never got the reset email. What now?
Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, double-check the email address you typed and try again. Remember the 3-per-hour limit.
The reset link says "Invalid or expired." What happened?
The link is older than 1 hour or has already been used. Go back to Forgot password? and request a new one.
Can I change my password without knowing the old one?
Not from inside the app — the security settings require your current password. If you don't remember it, sign out and use Forgot password? on the login page instead.
Why does the "Set Your Password" screen ask for a special character but the regular reset doesn't?
It enforces an extra-strict policy for accounts that were created by an admin, so your first password isn't easy to guess.
I signed up with Google or LinkedIn — do I need a password?
Not normally — you sign in with the same social button. If you want to add password sign-in, you can set one through the change-password flow once you're in.
