What it does

Creates a brand-new Nautis account along with your first organization, so you can start working on your startup right away. After you enter your details, we send a 6-digit code to your email to confirm it's really you.

Who can use it

  • Anyone with a valid email address.

  • New sign-ups may be turned off by your administrator. If that's the case, the Sign up page will send you to the login screen with a notice that registrations are disabled.

How to get here

Open the Nautis website and click Sign up, or go straight to the sign-up page from the login screen by clicking the Sign up link under the form.

Step-by-step: create your account

  1. On the sign-up page, fill in the Organization Name (for example, "Acme Inc.").

  2. Enter your Name (at least 2 characters).

  3. Enter your Email address. This is where your verification code will be sent.

  4. Type a Password that meets all four rules. As you type, dots beside each rule turn green when satisfied:

    • At least 8 characters long

    • Contains at least one uppercase letter

    • Contains at least one lowercase letter

    • Contains at least one number

  5. (Optional) If a friend gave you a Referral Code, paste it in. If you arrived from a referral link, the code is already filled in for you.

  6. Tick the box I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can click either link to read the full text in a pop-up.

  7. Click Create account.

Step-by-step: verify your email

  1. After you click Create account, the screen switches to a 6-digit code entry.

  2. Open your email inbox and find the message from Nautis with your code.

  3. Type the 6 digits into the boxes on screen. The code is checked automatically as soon as you enter the last digit — you don't need to press anything else.

  4. Once verified, you're signed in automatically and taken to your new organization page.

Step-by-step: resend the code

  1. If the code doesn't arrive within a minute or two, look at the Resend code button below the code boxes.

  2. After the 60-second countdown ends, the button becomes clickable.

  3. Click Resend code. A fresh code is sent to the same email, and the countdown resets.

Step-by-step: sign up with a social account

If a social sign-up flow is enabled in your build, choose Google or LinkedIn on the login page instead. We try to sign you in; if no account exists yet, we send you to a pre-filled sign-up form with your name and email already filled in. From there, finish the steps above to create your organization.

Tips & limits

  • The verification code expires after 10 minutes. If yours runs out, click Resend code to get a new one.

  • You can only ask for a new code once every 60 seconds.

  • If you mistype your password, the live checklist tells you which rule you're missing — no need to submit and wait for an error.

  • The Organization Name can be changed later from your organization settings, but pick something close to your real company name to keep things tidy.

  • Your email address can't be changed during sign-up. If you typed it wrong, use Back to signup and start over.

FAQ

I didn't get the verification email. What do I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, wait for the 60-second countdown and click Resend code.

Can I sign up without creating an organization?

No — every account belongs to an organization. If you're joining an existing team, ask for an invite link instead and use the Accept an invitation flow.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. You can create your account and use the free features without a card.

I already have an account. What should I do?

Click Sign in at the bottom of the sign-up form to go to the login page.

The page says "New registrations are currently disabled." Why?

Your administrator has turned off public sign-ups. Ask them to invite you instead.

Will my password be checked against my old ones?

Not on first sign-up — but later, when you change your password from your account, we keep a history to stop you reusing recent passwords.
