What it does

Gives you an AI advisory board for your startup. Pick a specialized advisor (each tuned to a different part of running a company), then chat with it like you would with an expert — it has context from the relevant Nautis modules tied to your account.

Who can use it

  • Anyone in your organization with read access to the AI Co-Pilot module.

  • The feature must be enabled on your plan.

  • Each message uses AI credits from your organization's monthly balance. When credits run out, sending is blocked until they reset or you top up.

How to get here

From the sidebar, open Profile & Company and click AI Co-Pilot.

Step-by-step: start a new conversation

  1. On the AI Co-Pilot page, you'll see Your AI Advisory Board with cards for each specialized advisor.

  2. Read the role title under each name (for example, strategy, finance, fundraising, GTM). Hover over a card to see what that advisor does and which Nautis modules they pull from.

  3. Click the advisor that fits your question.

  4. A new conversation opens. Type your question in the message box at the bottom and press Enter (or click the send button).

Alternatively, you can type your question into the chat box on the picker page and send. Nautis will start a conversation with a default advisor for you.

You can also click one of the Quick Start prompts on the picker page (for example, "Help me refine my pitch deck for investors") to spin up a relevant advisor with that opening message.

Step-by-step: send messages in a conversation

  1. Type your message in the box at the bottom. Use Shift+Enter to add a line break.

  2. Press Enter or click the send button.

  3. The advisor replies in the conversation thread. You can keep going — each new message is part of the same context.

  4. Some replies include suggested follow-up questions. Click one to send it as your next message.

To dictate instead of typing, click the microphone icon, speak, then confirm to send the transcribed text.

To use a slash command (a quick action), type / at the start of the message and pick from the menu that appears.

Step-by-step: switch advisors mid-flow

Different questions need different advisors. To switch:

  1. Click New Chat (or the + button) above the conversation list.

  2. Pick a different advisor from the picker.

Your old conversation is saved and stays in the list on the left.

Step-by-step: review and manage past conversations

  1. Conversations appear in the left sidebar, sorted by most recent activity.

  2. Click a conversation to reopen it and keep chatting.

  3. Use the conversation's menu to rename it, pin it to the top, archive it, move it into a folder, or delete it.

  4. To organize, create folders from the conversation menu — useful for separating, say, fundraising chats from product chats.

Tips & limits

  • Each advisor has different specialties shown on its card. The connected modules listed in the tooltip tell you what data it can reference (for example, your business plan, financials, or pitch deck).

  • Every message you send costs AI credits. The exact cost depends on the length of the message and reply — longer back-and-forth uses more credits. Your organization owner can see remaining credits in billing.

  • If you run out of credits, the send button is disabled until your monthly allowance resets or your admin tops up the balance.

  • Conversations are private to you within your organization unless you share them.

FAQ

How many AI credits does one message use?

It depends on the length of your message and the advisor's reply, plus how much context (your data) is included. There's no fixed "per message" cost. The picker disables sending once credits run out.

What if I run out of credits?

Sending is paused until the monthly cycle resets, or your admin can purchase an add-on credit pack from billing.

Which advisor should I pick?

Hover over each card to see its description and the modules it works with. Pick the one whose role title best matches your question. You can always start a new chat with a different advisor.

Does the AI see my actual Nautis data?

Yes. Each advisor is connected to specific modules (shown in the tooltip), so it can reference your business plan, financials, contacts, and more when answering. It does not share your data outside your organization.

Can I export a conversation?

Yes. Open the conversation menu and use the export option to save the chat.
